Description
Penelope Riviera blends eight-year-aged American Light Whiskey with Straight Bourbon and is then finished in Rosé wine casks. The bottling is part of the Cooper Series, in which Penelope combines American whiskey with select cask types from different regions. At 47% ABV, it results in an American whiskey with a sweet, floral, and fruit-forward profile.
Candied fruit and floral herbal notes open the aroma. Sweet vanilla, airy cake, and strawberry follow on the palate. The finish brings together bold leather, ripe berries, and a slight spice.
