Longmorn 41 Year Old 1985/2026 - Thompson Bros. - Refill Bourbon Cask - #6418
Longmorn from the 1985 vintage
This single malt from the Scottish Speyside was distilled on June 26, 1985, and bottled in 2026 after 41 years of maturation. It spent its entire aging period in refill bourbon hogshead #6418. A total of 162 bottles were produced from this single cask.
The bottling was released to mark two anniversaries: 10 years of Thompson Bros. and 50 years of Kirsch Import. It has an alcohol content of 41.2% vol. and is neither chill-filtered nor colored.
Vanilla, fruit and aged oak
- Color: Deep amber.
- Nose: Vanilla and sweet malt notes, complemented by subtle citrus aromas.
