Longmorn mit 17 Jahren Oloroso-Reifung
Ein First Fill Oloroso Butt prägte diesen Single Malt aus der schottischen Speyside während seiner gesamten 17-jährigen Reifezeit. Der 2008 destillierte Longmorn wurde 2026 für die Serie Highland Laird abgefüllt. Aus dem Einzelfass mit der Nummer 1240 stammen 455 Flaschen.
Mit 53,1% vol. verbindet der nicht rauchige Whisky ausgeprägte Fruchtnoten mit Nussaromen und Gewürzen. Die Abfüllung erfolgte ohne Kühlfiltrierung und ohne Zusatz von Farbstoff.
Aromen und Geschmack
- Nase: Rosinen und geröstete Walnüsse treffen auf die Süße von Oloroso-Sherry.
- Gaumen: Ein kräftiger, vollmundiger Eindruck mit Zimt und Nelken, ergänzt durch einen feinen Akzent von Orangenschale.
- Nachklang: Langer Ausklang mit Anklängen an Kaffee und dunkle Schokolade.
Genussempfehlung
Zum Erkunden der Aromen bietet sich ein Nosing-Glas bei Zimmertemperatur an. Neben dem puren Genuss lässt sich mit wenigen Tropfen Wasser ausprobieren, wie sich Eichenwürze und malzige Süße im Glas entwickeln.
