Laphroaig An Cuan Mòr is a limited-edition travel retail bottling that takes its name – " The Great Ocean" – from the Gaelic expression for the rough seas off Islay . Matured in first- fill bourbon casks and finished in European oak barrels, this single malt combines powerful peat smoke with spicy oak, a subtle sweetness , and maritime notes. Aromas of figs, honey, black pepper , and a hint of lavender meet licorice, red fruits , and typical smokiness on the palate . Bottled at 48% ABV and non -chill-filtered, this Laphroaig is a complex delight for lovers of characterful whiskies.
