Sechs Jahre im Sherry Butt
Das Sherry Butt #19357 beherbergte diesen japanischen Single Malt von Kanosuke für sechs Jahre. Auf die Destillation im September 2019 folgte im März 2026 die Abfüllung zum 50-jährigen Jubiläum von Kirsch Import. Insgesamt umfasst die Einzelfassabfüllung 569 Flaschen. Der Whisky besitzt eine Fassstärke von 62,0% vol. und wurde ohne Kühlfiltrierung sowie ohne Zugabe von Farbstoff abgefüllt.
Aromen und Geschmack
- Nase: Honig und Vanille begleiten reife dunkle Früchte und süße Trockenfrüchte.
- Gaumen: Ein vollmundiger, malziger Eindruck verbindet sich mit Karamellsüße, nussigen Tönen und würziger Eiche.
- Nachklang: Kakao und eine dezente salzige Note prägen den langen Ausklang.
Kanosuke und Kagoshima
Die Brennerei Kanosuke wurde 2017 in Kagoshima gegründet. Ihre Wurzeln in der Shochu-Herstellung reichen bis 1883 zurück. Bei diesem nicht rauchigen Single Malt treffen fruchtige und süße Aromen auf Malz, Eichenwürze und einen leicht salzigen Akzent.
