The Hearach Isle of Harris
In this batch, the Isle of Harris Distillery combines a lightly peated style with influences from ex-bourbon casks as well as Oloroso and Fino sherry casks. After maturation, the various cask components were married together for 18 weeks.
On the nose, freshly cut grass and garden bonfire smoke evoke sweet fruits, butterscotch, and spicy dried fruits. On the palate, the single malt feels light, round, and fruit-forward, accompanied by a subtle salty note. The finish remains long-lasting.
