This single malt was allowed to mature for almost two decades in the quiet of a Scottish warehouse, now revealing its full, untamed complexity. A profile of dark fruit and spicy depth. The distillate presents itself in the glass with a warm honey hue, immediately exuding intense aromas of raisins, plums, and a delicate malty sweetness. The Glenlivet distillery is at the heart of this bottling.
Cask Maturation and Origin
The symbiosis of Speyside elegance and Andalusian oak. Distilled in October 2006 at the renowned Glenlivet Distillery, this whisky spent its entire 19-year maturation period in a first-fill Oloroso Sherry Butt. The independent bottler Signatory Vintage deliberately selected a single cask for its exclusive Cask Strength Collection to preserve its specific character. In June 2026, the malt was finally bottled in its purest form – unfiltered and natural color – in a strictly limited edition of only 284 bottles.
Aroma
On the palate, the distinctive strength of 58.1% Vol. is evident, yet harmoniously embedded in notes of dark forest honey, caramel, and toasted nuts. The influence of the Oloroso sherry provides a noble, dry spiciness that culminates in a long-lasting finish with hints of oak and dried fruit.
