Glenkinchie with 17 years of Oloroso maturation
This single malt from the Scottish Lowlands combines malty notes with dark fruit and dry spice. Distilled in 2009, this Glenkinchie matured for 17 years in a First Fill Oloroso Hogshead and was bottled in 2026 for the Highland Laird series. A total of 265 bottles were produced from cask number 300011.
Aromas and taste
- Nose: Light malt, vanilla, and ripe apples as well as pears meet dark raisins and sherry sweetness.
- Palate: Malty base with toasted almonds and creamy caramel. The structure is dry and powerful.
- Finish: Spicy oak and a fine peppery note.
Single cask at cask strength
This non-peated bottling has an alcohol content of 56.5% ABV and is bottled without artificial coloring and without chill filtration. For tasting, in addition to enjoying it neat, cautiously adding a few drops of water is recommended.
