Glenfiddich, a whisky distillery near Dufftown in the former county of Banffshire, Scotland, is one of the country's largest single malt producers. With the support of his nine children and a stonemason, William Grant realized his lifelong dream and built a distillery, which he named after the nearby "Valley of the Deer" – Glenfiddich. Just one year later, on Christmas Eve 1887, the first drop of whisky flowed from the copper stills.
The Glenfiddich Grand Cru 23 Year Old is the latest creation from the world's most awarded single malt. This exclusive whisky matured for 23 years in American and European oak casks and received its final touch in rare French blend casks. By combining the finest aromas from Scotland and France, coupled with the art of experimentation, an exceptional taste experience has been created.
