Charakter und Herstellung
Die Reifung erfolgte seit 2013 über zwölf Jahre in einem erstbefüllten Sherry Hogshead mit der Nummer 2848, welches von Stuart Urquhart persönlich für diese Abfüllung selektiert wurde. Am Gaumen entfaltet die beeindruckende Fassstärke von 60,4 % Vol. ein vollmundiges Profil aus süßen Beeren, Vanille und Morello-Kirschen, das in einem langanhaltenden, würzigen Finale mit schwarzem Pfeffer gipfelt. Wichtige Eckdaten: 12 Jahre, destilliert 2013, abgefüllt 2026, 60,4% Vol. Die Abfüllung stammt von Gordon & MacPhail.
