Don Fulano Imperial Tequila Extra Anejo
At five years old, Don Fulano Tequila Imperial 100% Agave is the oldest member of the tequila family and a truly masterful product, guaranteed free of additives such as colorings or artificial flavors. It is produced by experienced agave growers and master distillers Enrique Fonseca and Sergio Mendoza, who are fourth and fifth generation agave farmers, at the legendary La Tequileña distillery, located in the heart of the region surrounding the city of Tequila.
Don Fulano Imperial is a blend of various extra-añejos, with the youngest tequilas aged for at least five years. The blend is complemented by distillates up to twelve years old. Aging takes place in barrels from renowned wine regions such as Burgundy, Bordeaux, the Loire, and Napa, California, and is rounded off with a finish in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. The result is a tequila with a complex aroma and flavor that is a true delight for connoisseurs.
