In July 2016, five rival NBA team owners—Emilia Fazzalari and Wyc Grousbeck of the Celtics, Jeanie Buss of the Lakers, Michael Jordan of the Hornets, and Wes Edens of the Bucks—met for dinner. That evening, they bonded over their shared love of tequila, and thus Cincoro was born. The name combines "cinco" for five and "oro" for gold, representing their mission to create the gold standard among tequilas.
Cincoro Tequila Blanco is the result of a unique collaboration and a masterpiece born of a passion for perfection. Made from 100% blue Weber agave, carefully sourced from the highland and lowland regions of Jalisco, Mexico, this tequila combines the best of both worlds. A slow distillation achieves exceptional smoothness and complexity.
The aroma captivates with notes of fresh agave and citrus, rounded off by a hint of vanilla. On the palate, a clear flavor profile unfolds with notes of fresh agave and grapefruit, accompanied by a subtle jalapeño heat. The finish is long and clean, with hints of citrus and cooked agave, leaving a light spice.
The tequila's sophistication is also reflected in the unique bottle design. The five-sided structure and striking 23-degree angle pay homage to Michael Jordan's legendary jersey number and symbolize the tireless pursuit of perfection.
