The Liqueur D'Elixir is a tribute to the centuries-old art of herbal extraction perfected by the Carthusian monks since the founding of their order in 1084. Inspired by the "liqueur de santé" or "elixir de table" developed at the beginning of the 19th century, this liqueur represents a harmonious symbiosis between the powerful Elixir Végétal and the traditional green Chartreuse.

It is produced using a complex process in which over 130 different herbs, plants and spices are carefully selected and processed. Combined in a secret recipe, the Chartreuse Liqueur D'Elixir 1605 develops a distinctive taste profile.
