Der Borders 8 Jahre First Release stammt aus Hawick in den schottischen Lowlands. Für diesen Single Malt kamen First-Fill Bourbon Barrels zum Einsatz. Die Erstveröffentlichung umfasst weltweit 10.000 Flaschen und wird mit 46,0% vol. abgefüllt.

Frucht, Süße und würzige Akzente

Das Duftbild verbindet Sultaninen mit Honig und Karamell. Am Gaumen treffen reife Beeren auf eine leichte Ingwerschärfe; das Mundgefühl ist weich und vollmundig. Eine würzige Eichennote begleitet den langen Nachklang.
