Smoky Highland Whisky at Cask Strength
This 13-year-old Ballechin from the Scottish Highlands was distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2026. Maturation took place in a hogshead. With 59.1% alcohol by volume at cask strength, the whisky is bottled without artificial coloring and without chill filtration.
Fruit, Peat and Oak Spice
- Nose: Cherry and orange provide sweet fruity accents alongside a distinct peaty smoke. Subtle vanilla and dry oak notes join in.
- Palate: Robust peat and a clear spice from the oak wood define the impression on the palate. Dark cherry and candied orange complement the profile.
- Finish: Orange peel remains present in the long, dry finish. Mild vanilla and a light wood smoke accompany it.
