Fake Shop Warning

UPDATE

Currently known fake websites that have stolen our logo!

  • clolas.com

  • nbzvrm.com

  • dagewan.com (offline)

Now, with Black Friday approaching, the fake websites have become more professional. They use copied, fake trust badges. These are meaningless because they don't link to the official sites.

For example:

Hello dear customers,

Unfortunately, fraudulent websites offering spirits at very low prices have recently appeared. Many of our photos AND our logo have been stolen from these sites. This infuriates me, as I personally drew and designed the photo for Delia. That's right – it wasn't a marketing agency, it was me personally.

Here's a brief overview of what we think is worth checking:

  1. Prices that seem too good to be true usually cause a lot of trouble... For example, these fake websites offer a Springbank 30 for €100.99.
  2. Is there a legal notice (Impressum) and does what's written there make sense? Is there a phone number I can call? Preferably a local landline number.
  3. What payment methods are offered? PayPal offers very good buyer protection, which is why fake websites often don't offer this payment method.
  4. Carefully check the web address (URL). There are often variations of the actual address.
The address must be exactly correct, namely https://deliawhisky.de or just deliawhisky.de (depending on your browser settings).
If a letter is changed or anything is added, it's a fake.
  5. An email can also be disguised, and especially on mobile phones, the actual address isn't immediately obvious. Always carefully examine the sender before clicking a button.

Unfortunately, we just received a call from a customer who has been affected. This confirmation email arrived after the purchase.

The sender address was obviously not ours. Our logo was simply stolen and copied into this email.

It is expected that many more of these fake websites will emerge in the near future. These sites also run paid advertising campaigns on Google to be found.

Please double-check that you are actually on our website!
