Description
For Kirsch Import's 50th anniversary, Sebastian Jäger selected this exceptional single cask directly from Willett in Bardstown. The eight-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon is based on Willett's "Original Family Mash Bill" of 72% corn, 13% rye, and 15% malted barley.
Cask #551 matured in Warehouse B on Floor 4, Rick 3. During maturation, the barrel content decreased from around 190 to just 85.4 liters – an Angel's Share of approximately 55 percent. At the same time, the natural cask strength increased from 62.5 to a powerful 67.1% ABV.
Only 122 bottles were filled from this concentrated single barrel. This makes the anniversary edition a particularly rare tribute to five decades of Kirsch Import and an exciting bottling for Bourbon connoisseurs and collectors.
