Wild Turkey Longbranch combines Kentucky bourbon with a special finishing process that builds a bridge to Texas. The bottling was created as a collaboration between Master Distiller Eddie Russell and Matthew McConaughey. The base is eight-year-old bourbon, which is refined with charcoal from American white oak and Texas mesquite wood.
Vanilla and spices meet on the nose. Caramel, pear, and fine citrus notes follow on the palate. The soft finish combines a subtle smoky note with gentle pepper and toasted oak. With 43.0% vol. and the generous 1-liter bottle, Longbranch presents itself as a balanced Kentucky Straight Bourbon with its own distinctive character.
