Ledaig Castaway Limited Edition
The Ledaig Castaway is a limited, robust bottling from Tobermory's smoky Ledaig line. Matured in an unusual combination of Caribbean rum casks and Mexican tequila casks, it combines the maritime peat smoke of the Isle of Mull with tropical sweetness and spicy agave characteristics.
The nose reveals coastal smoke, caramelized banana, lime zest, vanilla, green apple, white pepper, and a hint of sea breeze. On the palate, robust smoke and spices meet grilled pineapple, salty notes, herbal agave, black pepper, charred citrus, and toffee. The finish is long and warming with smoldering peat smoke, Demerara sweetness, chili warmth, and fresh lime.
