The Deveron 10 Jahre

The Deveron 10 Jahre stammt aus der Macduff Distillery im Norden Aberdeenshires. Die 1960 gegründete Brennerei liegt nahe der Mündung des River Deveron, kurz bevor dieser in die Nordsee fließt. Fünf kleine Kupferbrennblasen und ungewöhnliche, horizontal angeordnete Kondensatoren sind auf einen leichten und fruchtigen Brennereicharakter ausgerichtet.

Für diese Abfüllung reift der Single Malt zehn Jahre in Eichenfässern. Frischer grüner Apfel prägt das Aroma und wird von weichem Toffee begleitet. Vanille und cremige Eichennoten runden das Profil ab. Mit 40 % vol. zeigt sich The Deveron 10 Jahre weich und zugänglich, wobei die fruchtigen Noten klar im Vordergrund stehen.
