Mit Batch Strength No. 008 präsentiert Tamdhu die kraftvolle Seite seines vollständig in Oloroso-Sherryfässern gereiften Speyside Single Malts. Die sorgfältig zusammengestellte achte Edition der Reihe wird mit kräftigen 55,8 % Vol. und damit nahe an Fassstärke abgefüllt.
In der Nase verbinden sich warme Eichenaromen mit süßer Honigwabe und cremiger Vanille. Am Gaumen zeigen sich lebhafte Sommerbeeren; einige Tropfen Wasser öffnen zusätzlich Noten von kandierter Zitronenschale und würziger Eiche. Im ausdrucksstarken Abgang bleiben reife Feigen, frische Zitronenzeste und angenehm herbe Eichenanklänge zurück.
