Der Tamdhu Cigar Malt Release Nr. 04 53,8% ist ein Single Mal Whisky von Tamdhu aus Speyside in Schottland.
Mit dem Cigar Malt Release Nr. 04 präsentiert Tamdhu die vierte Ausgabe seiner kräftig sherrygeprägten Sonderedition. Der Speyside Single Malt reifte ausschließlich in Oloroso-Sherryfässern; ein ausgewählter Anteil erstbefüllter europäischer Eichenfässer sorgt für zusätzliche Tiefe und Würze. Abgefüllt wurde er mit 53,8 % Vol., ohne Farbstoff und ohne Kühlfiltration. In der Nase verbinden sich klebriger Ingwerpudding und warme Sherryeiche. Am Gaumen folgen Crème brûlée und in Sherry getränkter Pflaumen-Crumble. Aprikose, geröstete Mandeln und eine feine Honigwabensüße prägen den langen Abgang. Sein voller Charakter wurde gezielt als Begleiter zu einer hochwertigen Zigarre entwickelt, funktioniert aber ebenso als intensiver Solist.
