Die Kiliani Edition „Bonifatius“ ist eine auf 750 Flaschen limitierte Abfüllung der St. Kilian Distillers aus Rüdenau. Ihren Namen trägt sie nach dem heiligen Bonifatius und der Überlieferung um die Donareiche. Abgefüllt wird der deutsche Single Malt Whisky mit 46 % Vol.
In der Nase beginnt er fruchtbetont mit Apfel, reifer Banane und süßer Birne. Cremige Vanille verbindet sich mit Anklängen von gerösteten Nüssen und feiner Schokolade. Am Gaumen zeigt sich der Whisky weich und ausgewogen. Frische Frucht und süße Vanille werden von einer dezenten Eichenwürze getragen, die dem Profil Struktur gibt, ohne die Fruchtigkeit zu überdecken. Der kurze bis mittellange Nachklang greift die sanfte Holzprägung noch einmal auf und klingt mit Vanille und einer milden Fruchtsüße sauber aus.
Eine zugängliche, harmonisch komponierte Sonderedition mit klarer Frucht, weicher Vanille und zurückhaltender Eichenwürze.
