This 14-year-old "Secret Speyside" matured in the quiet of Speyside and gained its extraordinary depth through a finish in First Fill Pedro Ximénez Sherry Butts. The exact distillery remains a secret, but the single malt, bottled at 48.2% ABV, impresses without chill-filtration or artificial coloring. The nose is dominated by dates, figs, and raisins, complemented by leather and caramel. On the palate, buttery toffee, marzipan, and a harmonious balance of sherry sweetness and spice unfold. The long finish reveals walnuts and ripe plums. This limited Small Batch Edition is ideal for lovers of intense sherry finishes and develops best neat in a nosing glass at room temperature. The elegant packaging completes the experience.
