Die Brennerei dieser Speyside-Abfüllung bleibt bewusst ungenannt. Cadenhead’s präsentiert sie innerhalb der Enigma-Serie als ausgewogenen, herzhaften Single Malt mit vollständiger Reifung in Oloroso Hogsheads.
In der Nase zeigen sich Heu, Erdbeeren, Sultaninen und Heidelbeeren. Am Gaumen verbinden sich Orangenmarmelade und dunkle Schokolade mit Paranüssen und Akazienhonig. Das Finish wirkt salzig und bringt Schokoladen-Honigwabe sowie Zimt mit.
Ein facettenreicher Speyside-Whisky, dessen fruchtige, nussige und würzige Eindrücke reizvoll zusammenspielen.
