Grace O'Malley Dark Char Cask Sample
Grace O'Malley's limited-edition blend consists of Irish grain and malt whiskies that have undergone double cask maturation. The initial maturation takes place in deep-charred American oak casks, which impart a smoothness with a vanilla sweetness. It is then refined in Caribbean rum casks for exotic notes of tropical fruits and almonds.
Nose: Aromas of oak with some citrus and subtle spice. Malt with an underlying sweetness.
Palate: Butter biscuits, vanilla and zest with some smokiness at the end.
Finish: Soft finish with lingering malt.
