The Royal Brackla Thompson Bros. 2011/2024 is a 13-year-old single malt whisky bottled in 2024 by Thompson Brothers. Distilled in 2011, this whisky matured in a refill butt before being bottled in a limited edition of only 727 bottles.
Its complex aromas delight with a fascinating diversity: On the nose, notes of pine needles, pepper, and licorice unfold, accompanied by subtle hints of wheat beer, fennel seeds, and curry. On the palate, fresh citrus notes of lemon and green apple dominate, complemented by kiwi and a spicy heat. The finish rounds off the taste experience with nuances of triple sec and a touch of pastry.
This single malt is presented in its natural quality – without chill filtration and without the addition of artificial colors.
