The Roda Reserva 2020 is an outstanding red wine from the renowned Rioja wine region in Spain. Made by Bodegas Roda, it combines traditional winemaking with a modern approach and perfectly expresses the elegance and complexity of this region. The cuvée consists of 89% Tempranillo, 6% Garnacha and 5% Graciano, obtained from vines over 30 years old. After fermentation in French wooden foudres, the wine matured for 14 months in French oak barrels, 40% of which were new and 60% one year old. This was followed by 22 months of bottle aging, giving it additional depth and finesse.

In the glass, the Roda Reserva 2020 presents itself in a deep ruby red with cherry-red reflections. Its complex bouquet reveals intense aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherries and raspberries, accompanied by fine spicy notes, oak and floral nuances. On the palate it is fresh and silky with impressive fruitiness, soft, well-integrated tannins and remarkable depth. The aromas of raspberries, ripe cherries and subtle spices continue and lead to a long, elegant and complex finish.

With an alcohol content of 14.5% vol., this Rioja unfolds its full splendor at a recommended serving temperature of 16-18 °C. The Roda Reserva 2020 is ready to drink now, but has excellent storage potential until 2032. It is the perfect accompaniment to red meat, game dishes and mature cheese and is suitable for special occasions as well as for enjoyable evenings with friends and family.
