Produced at the Hinch Distillery, it features a careful selection of nine botanicals, including lemon verbena, cardamom, and orange peel. These ingredients give the gin a balanced aroma of aromatic spices and citrus notes. The name "Ninth Wave" comes from Irish mythology and refers to the giant wave that separates Earth from the "Other Land." The taste of the gin is full-bodied with a mild sensation on the tongue and a slightly warming finish. The bottle itself is wave-shaped, reflecting the gin's theme.
