This single malt from Speyside demonstrates the quality of a distillery whose whiskies are primarily used for blends and are rarely available as standalone single malts. The Miltonduff distillery produces characterful whiskies with balanced fruit and spice notes.

This whisky matured for seventeen years in a refill sherry butt, developing a complex aromatic profile. The previously used sherry cask #900778 imparted subtle dried fruit notes and spicy accents to the distillate without overpowering its original characteristics. The maturation period from November 2007 to April 2025 created a whisky with the region's typical balance of sweetness and spice.

With a powerful 59.6% alcohol by volume, this whisky was bottled unfiltered and without additives. This natural approach preserves the original texture and all the flavor compounds from the long cask maturation. The amber hue comes exclusively from the interaction with the sherry cask.

Elixir Distillers produced 625 bottles of this limited edition from the "Single Malts of Scotland" series.
