Islay Single Malt aus dem Oloroso-Sherryfass
PHORLAG ein weiterer Teil der Alien Serie von scotch Universe Dieser 11 Jahre alte Laphroaig wurde 2015 destilliert und 2026 von Scotch Universe abgefüllt. Seine vollständige Reifung erfolgte in einem 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry Hogshead. Als Einzelfassabfüllung in Fassstärke besitzt er einen Alkoholgehalt von 55,3 % Vol.
Kräftiger Torfrauch, maritime Noten und Seetang prägen das Aromaprofil. Rosinen und dunkle Pflaumen ergänzen die rauchig-salzige Ausrichtung um reife Frucht. Am Gaumen verbinden sich eine ölige Textur und mineralische Akzente mit würzigem Toffee und Lakritz. Trockene Asche und dunkle Schokolade begleiten den langen Ausklang.
Unverfälscht abgefüllt
Der Single Malt kommt ohne Farbstoff und ohne Kühlfiltrierung in die Flasche. Einige Tropfen Wasser können bei dieser Fassstärke weitere Gewürz- und Sherrynoten zugänglich machen.
