After eleven years of maturation in a combination of ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks, this single malt presents itself as Islay's only true single farm malt. An interplay of maritime notes and tropical sweetness. The nose reveals a delicate bouquet of oranges, lemon zest, and fragrant elderflower, gently enveloped by honeyed depth and a hint of maritime smoke. The Kilchoman distillery is at the heart of this bottling.
Aromatics
On the palate, the whisky displays a remarkable texture with notes of tropical fruits, barley sugar, and toffee apples, accompanied by a subtle hint of peat. The long-lasting finish confirms the complexity through nuances of butterscotch, walnut, and ripe stone fruit, without losing its vibrant character.
