Kilchoman 20 Jahre Family Collection
Mit dem Kilchoman 20 Jahre präsentiert die Islay-Brennerei die bislang älteste regulär veröffentlichte Abfüllung ihrer Geschichte. Der Single Malt gehört zur ersten Edition der Family Collection und wurde aus ausgewählten, besonders lange gereiften Beständen zusammengestellt. Grundlage ist stark getorftes Malz der Port Ellen Maltings mit 50 ppm.
Die vollständige Reifung erfolgte über zwei Jahrzehnte in Ex-Bourbonfässern. Abgefüllt wurde der Whisky mit 49,9 % Vol., ohne Farbstoff und ohne Kühlfiltration. Als älteste Edition der vierteiligen Kollektion markiert diese streng limitierte Abfüllung einen besonderen Meilenstein in der Entwicklung von Kilchoman.
