Kilchoman 11 Years Family Collection
The Kilchoman 11 Years is part of the first edition of the Family Collection, for which rare, long-aged stocks were selected from the warehouses of the Islay distillery. The single malt was made from heavily peated malt from Port Ellen Maltings with a phenol content of 50 ppm.
The whisky was fully matured for eleven years in selected Oloroso sherry casks. It was bottled at a robust 54.7% vol. at cask strength, without coloring and without chill filtration. Within the four-part Family Collection, this bottling forms the sherry-influenced counterpart to the older editions matured in bourbon casks.
