Dewars 12 Jahre Double Aged

Dewar’s 12 Jahre ist ein Blended Scotch Whisky, für den dreißig ausgewählte Malt- und Grain-Whiskys miteinander kombiniert werden. Nach der mindestens zwölfjährigen Reifung durchläuft der Blend das für Dewar’s typische zweistufige Reifeverfahren und erhält ein Finish in First-Fill-Bourbonfässern. Dieser zusätzliche Fassaufenthalt verbindet die einzelnen Bestandteile und unterstreicht den weichen, ausgewogenen Charakter der Abfüllung.

Im Aroma zeigen sich Vanille, Zitrusfrüchte und frisches Obst. Am Gaumen folgen Butterscotch, Getreidenoten und eine sanfte Würze. Der Abgang verbindet leichte Rauchnoten mit Eiche und einer angenehmen Honigsüße. Abgefüllt wird der zwölfjährige Blended Scotch mit 40 % vol.
