Description
RISKY is a dry Riesling from the "Second Spirit" series by the Terra Preta Weingut Huppert in Gundersheim. The hand-picked grapes come from the Gundersheimer Höllenbrand vineyard. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the Riesling matures for a short time in a 150-liter cask that previously held whisky. This preserves its fresh wine character while adding traces of the charred cask wood.
Fruit and lively acidity meet smoke, peat, and toasted wood. With 0.0 g/l residual sugar, this bottling is uncompromisingly dry and aimed at curious wine and whisky lovers looking for an unusual combination of both worlds. Sales designation: aromatized wine-based drink. Contains sulfites.
