Glenmorangie Extremely Rare
A stunning release from Glenmorangie, matured in American oak casks. A portion of this whisky spends its final three years in Spanish Oloroso casks to give it fantastic weight and complexity. Like all Glenmorangies, this whisky has a smooth and refined mouthfeel with some distinct tropical fruit flavors that give it a lovely lift.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich, rounded and sweet with dried fruits and a complex floral scent.
Palate: The flavor is balanced between honey, malt, and floral aromas. Dates and figs appear in the background with a hint of wood smoke.
