20 years in an Oloroso sherry cask
This single malt from the Scottish Speyside region was distilled at the Glenlivet Distillery on May 30, 2006. It matured for twenty years in a 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry Hogshead with cask number 900624. In July 2026, it yielded 289 bottles, bottled at a cask strength of 63.5% vol.
The whisky presents itself in a deep, dark amber hue and contains no added coloring. It was not chill-filtered. It is bottled in an Ibisco decanter and includes a tube for packaging.
Fruit, chocolate, and oak spice
- Nose: Dates and raisins define the aroma, complemented by honey and sweet caramel.
- Palate: Powerful and full-bodied, with plum compote, dark chocolate, and distinct oak spice.
- Finish: Long-lasting with walnut and dry cocoa.
This bottling is produced by the independent bottler Signatory Vintage.
