Glenglassaugh at Cask Strength from the Oloroso Sherry Cask
GLASSARION another part of the new Alien series from Scotch Universe. This 11-year-old Single Malt was distilled at Glenglassaugh in 2014 and bottled by Scotch Universe in 2026. Its maturation in a 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry Hogshead imbues this single cask bottling with dark fruit, spicy accents, and a robust cask structure.
Aromas and Character
On the nose, plums and raisins combine with nutty hints and a slightly salty nuance. On the palate, dark chocolate and caramel meet spicy oak. The long finish unites sweet sherry fruit with dry spice.
