18 years of maturation in a Sherry Quarter Cask
To mark the 50th anniversary of Kirsch Import, this Elsburn Single Malt from the Harz region is being released as a single cask bottling. Between the distillation in 2008 and bottling in 2026, the spirit underwent 18 years of maturation in a Sherry Quarter Cask. The edition is limited to just 50 bottles and is bottled at 50.2% ABV.
Fruit-forward aromas with chocolate and oak
In the glass, the whisky displays a deep amber color. Its non-peated profile combines dark fruit notes with sweet and spicy accents.
- Nose: Cherries and raisins define the aroma, complemented by vanilla and sherry sweetness.
- Palate: Full-bodied with dark fruits, caramel, and bittersweet chocolate.
- Finish: Long-lasting with dry oak spice.
The Elsburn is produced without artificial coloring and is non-chill filtered. The 0.7-liter bottle is presented in a premium box.
