Charakter und Herstellung
Nach fast zwei Jahrzehnten der Lagerung im Oloroso Sherry Hogshead präsentiert sich hier ein Destillat, das die Zeit als seinen wichtigsten Faktor genutzt hat. Dezember 2025 in einem ausgewählten Oloroso Sherry Hogshead gereift. Wichtige Eckdaten: 18 Jahre, destilliert 11.10.2007, abgefüllt 08.12.2025, 56,6% Vol. Die Abfüllung stammt von Elixir Distillers (EID).
Einordnung
Der unabhängige Abfüller „The Single Malts of Scotland“ (Elixir Distillers) verzichtete bei diesem Einzelfass bewusst auf Kältefiltration und Farbstoffe, um die unverfälschte Seele der gemälzten Gerste und des Holzes zu bewahren.
