A play of tropical fruit and mineral spice. In the glass, the distillate presents itself in an inviting yellow-gold and immediately unfolds a bouquet of ripe bananas and juicy pineapple. The Clairin distillery is at the heart of this bottling.
Cask aging and origin
The symbiosis of Haitian tradition and Guyanese cask aging. In the remote Baradères region, Faubert Casimir distills this spirit from pure sugarcane juice, before the distillate embarked on an unusual journey on August 11, 2023, for 22 months. The aging took place in Single Cask #CA21UI-122, a former cask from the legendary Uitvlugt distillery in Guyana, which gives this Clairin an additional, historical dimension. This selection by Kirsch Import, bottled in June 2025, combines the powerful originality of Haiti with the structured elegance of a special French-style cask preparation.
Aromatics
On the palate, the typical characteristics of the Casimir house emerge: a powerful core meets a spicy-mineral depth, accompanied by distinctive herbal notes.
