Matured exclusively in refill Oloroso hogsheads, this Speysider boasts a sweet, fruity base, complemented by savory nuances. The Speysider was bottled by independent bottler Cadenhead's at 46% drinking strength, with no added coloring or chill filtration.
Craigellachie-Glenlivet:
The distillery is located in the village of Craigellachie, which translates as “rocky hill,” in the heart of Speyside.
Thanks to the long fermentation, the fruitiness of the distillate is preserved, and tropical floral notes emerge in the mature whisky. The result is a full-bodied, yet aromatic distillate that has made Craigellachie a sought-after malt for blends.
