Bruichladdich Octomore 17.2
With Octomore 17.2, Bruichladdich presents a multi-layered Islay Single Malt in which distinctive peat smoke and the influence of various cask types interact closely. Red and dark berries meet spicy accents, while citrus notes add freshness to the powerful profile.
On the nose, strawberry, blackberry, and cassis combine with earthy smokiness, pepper, lemon zest, and lime oil. On the palate, the peat smoke emerges more clearly, accompanied by red fruits, port wine spice, and notes of barley and malt.
The finish remains long and clearly defined. Lingering smoke, dark fruits, and spicy port wine transition into a dry, earthy note with citrus freshness.
