22 Jahre gereifter Bowmore aus Fass #20
Tropische Frucht und dezenter Rauch prägen diesen Single Malt aus der schottischen Region Islay. Der 2004 destillierte Bowmore reifte 22 Jahre in einem Refill-Bourbon-Barrel. Die Einzelfassabfüllung aus Fass #20 gehört zur Reihe Vintage Reserve und wurde 2026 mit 52,3% Vol. abgefüllt. Insgesamt umfasst sie 269 Flaschen à 0,7 Liter. Auf Kühlfiltration und den Zusatz von Farbstoff wurde verzichtet.
Fruchtige Süße mit maritimen Noten
- Nase: Ananas und etwas Vanille verbinden sich mit maritimen Eindrücken. Ein feiner Tabakrauch begleitet die Frucht.
- Gaumen: Süße, saftige Ananas steht neben salziger Mineralität. Milde Gewürznoten und leichter Rauch ergänzen das Profil.
- Nachklang: Mit nachlassender Fruchtigkeit gewinnt der trockene Charakter an Gewicht. Tabakrauch, mineralische Noten und etwas Pfeffer bleiben präsent.
Dieser Bowmore spricht besonders Liebhaber von Islay-Whiskys an, die tropische Aromen in Verbindung mit zurückhaltendem Rauch schätzen.
