The Bowmore 17 Year Old White Sands is an exclusive Islay single malt bottled exclusively for the travel retail market. Named after the white sandy beaches near the distillery, this whisky matured for 17 years in first-fill bourbon casks, giving it a special depth and smoothness. Warm aromas of vanilla, caramel, toasted wood, and a subtle smokiness unfold on the nose. On the palate, it is balanced and complex with notes of exotic fruits, toffee, oak, and a hint of sea salt. The finish is long, velvety, and pleasantly smoky.
