Character and Production
The independent bottler Signatory Vintage selected cask number 10 – a first-fill Ruby Port Hogshead – for maturation, in which the Highland Single Malt matured until its 15th year. An autumnal bouquet of berries and spices. On the nose, an intense interplay of ripe blackberries and cherries immediately unfolds, underpinned by a delicate vanilla note and dark chocolate. Key data: 14 years old, distilled 2011, bottled 2025, 57.9% Vol. The bottling comes from Signatory Vintage.
Classification
On the palate, the full intensity of the cask strength of 57.9% Vol. is evident, conveying aromas of berry jam and caramelized nuts.
