Character and Production
The choice of cask often determines the path a distillate takes – in this case, it leads directly into the depths of an unusual symbiosis of pristine wood and intense smoke. A play of peat smoke and fresh oak spice. On the nose, the ochre-coloured distillate first unfolds with a striking smoke, elegantly accompanied by a fruity sweetness, citrus notes, and nuances of vanilla and coconut. Key data: 17 years old, distilled 2008, bottled 2026, 61.1% ABV. The bottling comes from Signatory Vintage.
