Am Gaumen zeigt sich eine samtige Textur mit Nuancen von dunklen Trauben und Milchschokolade, die in ein langanhaltendes, trocken-fruchtiges Finale mit einem Hauch von Zimt übergehen.

Tradition der Lowlands trifft auf Amontillado-Raffinesse Die Destillerie Auchentoshan ist für ihren eleganten Stil bekannt, doch erst durch die Expertise des unabhängigen Abfüllers Signatory Vintage erreicht dieser Malt seine volle Komplexität. Nach der Destillation im Jahr 2013 verbrachte der Whisky insgesamt 13 Jahre in ausgesuchten Fässern, bevor er sein entscheidendes Finish in First Fill Amontillado Hogsheads erhielt. Ein Spiel aus Kupferglanz, Steinobst und edler Würze Im Glas präsentiert sich der Whisky in einem warmen Kupferton, der bereits die Intensität der Fasslagerung erahnen lässt.
