Absinth 66
Absinth 66 ist die bekannteste Spezialität des Abtshofs in Magdeburg. Die Rezeptur verbindet Anis, Fenchel, Wermut und weitere Kräuter zu einem markanten, klassisch geprägten Absinth mit 66 % Vol. Jede Apothekerflasche wird von Hand etikettiert und verplombt, wodurch die traditionsbetonte Ausstattung ihren charakteristischen Manufakturcharakter erhält.
Geschmacklich stehen die würzigen Kräuter im Mittelpunkt. Anis und Fenchel bringen aromatische Süße, während Wermut eine deutlich herbere Komponente beisteuert. Durch den hohen Alkoholgehalt eignet sich Absinth 66 besonders für die traditionelle Zubereitung mit Wasser und Zucker sowie als kräftige Zutat in klassischen Drinks wie Sazerac oder Death in the Afternoon.
Die grüne Farbe entsteht durch die Farbstoffe E102 und E133. Absinth 66 verbindet den historischen Stil der „Grünen Fee“ mit der handwerklichen Ausstattung des Magdeburger Herstellers.
